Heal & Adorn
McNichols' practice is immensely experimental, fusing varied mediums – metal, jewellery, video, screen-printing, and textile.
Hailing from a West Indian-American background, she is inspired to produce artwork that captures the urban cultural aesthetics of Blackness authentically and unapologetically. McNichols' practice reflects on the themes of empowerment, spirituality, sexuality, and healing. It is her mission to create artwork that conveys the true beauty within people of colour.
