Show RCA 2019

Show RCA work

Major project:

Instruments of Production

Instruments of Production is an installation of three film pieces. The films are based on performances and workshop exercises which I've delivered over the past six months in various contexts. Each film documents a sonic and performative gesture exploring the body's relationship to the production and distribution of wealth in contemporary society, particularly relating to the extraction of surplus labour which is essential for producing profit and economic growth.

  • Contact

  • I am a London-based composer and artist from Donegal, Ireland. I work in performance, music and film. My work in the last two years has focused on performative pieces on the themes of work, the body and the economy. My work process often involves field recording, physical improvisation, films I make on my phone, collaboration with musicians and performers, and more recently an engagement with political theory.
