Major project:

See You

Shadow and body for me is a very dialectical relationship. It is very comparable to self-awareness and otherness. Shadow resembles the feeling of alienation as an international being living in a foreign country for many years and an individual living in an urban city. Drawing the shadow, is to understand what happens to an individual and what changed me. The process of drawing is the process of understanding and reconciliation.

Info

  • As an artist, I am interested in reflecting my surroundings and giving responses which are related to my experience. My practice is often related to the alienation of the individual within a vast environment, such as an institution, an urban city or a broader historical narrative.
