Clark is a Yorkshireman, an Artist, both and neither.
Blurring a line between truth and fiction; simplistic props or sculptures become slapstick relics that are given a greater status than they potentially deserve.
His work aims to stage; to shout quietly in the gallery space they are unsure he should be in. Clark removed from the site, but present through melancholic texts and objects, my work asks is it possible to make our own private, public? Or, will there always be a performance.
He probably wrote this himself.
