Way Losing

dé•rive (French: [/de.ʁiv/], "drift")

noun pl. -rives • an unplanned journey through a landscape, usually urban, on which the subtle aesthetic contours of the surrounding architecture and geography subconsciously direct the traveller with the ultimate goal of encountering an entirely new and authentic experience.

Way Losing

Loosely based on the Situationist theory of the dérive, Way Losing a way for people in the environment, usually urban, to navigate and learn about their surroundings. Movement from place to place and between space occurs counter to the 'from A to B in the shortest amount of time' narrative.
