Sustain Talks

Sustain Talks is a public-facing forum for lively discussion on a wide range of social, and environmental issues relating to sustainability and future living.

They bring together Royal College of Art students, graduates, staff and the public to explore approaches, challenge thinking and generally get inspired about the change possible through creative practice. Valuing nature, the future of the UK's energy and radical communities have been among some of the most popular topics. Our speakers have included the former Special Representative for Climate Change John Ashton, activist-artist John Jordan, ecocide advocate Polly Higgins, Green Party leader Natalie Bennett, author and campaigner Andrew Simms, Forum for the Future founder Jonathon Porritt, Guerrilla Gardener Richard Reynolds, writer John Thackara and the Italian guru of social sustainability, Ezio Manzini.
