Graduated 1989 in Graphic Design from Bath Spa University, specialising in illustration and poster design; two years in London working as a freelance illustrator as well as travelling around Eastern Europe and Russia; 1991 scholarship for independent postgraduate study at the Berlin Academy of Arts. For eight years living and working in Berlin on autonomous projects, and as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, travelling in Europe, USA and Egypt; 1999 move to Paris to take up position as Senior Designer at Minale Tattersfield (Minale Design Strategy). Beginning of design writing for Eye magazine; 2006 birth of daughter and return to Berlin, working again as a freelance designer and writer, as well as in exhibition design for cw&ra. Simultaneous study for BA in History at the Humboldt University; since 2009 at the RCA pursuing research degree in public art and design (murals, friezes, graphics) in the former East Germany.
