Short-Circuit

Coffee-maker, kettles and toaster made out of re-used components

Gaspard Tine-Beres, Wates Fellow 2012

Short Circuit is a project currently in development, led Gaspard Tiné-Berès who received a £10,000 bursary and fellowship at InnovationRCA from the Wates Family Entreprise Trust. The fellowship includes business mentoring and access to office space in our business incubator.

Short Circuit is focused on recycling small electrical goods and turning them into new high value products. Gaspard Tiné-Berès is working with 'Bright Spark' a London based recycling centre and the plan is to develop a scalable model that can be transferred to other recycling centres across the UK and Internationally.
