InnovationRCA Fund 1

InnovationRCA Fund 1 is a SEIS/EIS Fund set up to invest in early stage companies connected to the Royal College of Art

The fund is managed by Venrex Investment Management LLP, a fund manager regulated by the FCA. In the last 18 months, over £500K has been invested.

Who can apply for investment?
Any business with a connection to the Royal College of Art (e.g. Founder is an RCA student, alumnus, current/former staff member)

What investment amount is available?
The amount is very flexible and depends on the stage of the business. The typical range is £40,000 – £250,000

What stage of company does the Fund invest in?
The Fund typically looks to invest in companies that range from “pre-seed” to “seed / late seed” stage

  • At pre-seed stage, the founder should have a clearly differentiated product/offering and a deep understanding of their market
  • At seed / late seed stage, the company should display signs of product/market fit and some positive traction

What is the investment application process?
Please submit an “Expression of Interest” form and the InnovationRCA team will be in touch. Applications are reviewed by the InnovationRCA team before being passed on to Venrex, who manages the Fund.

Who is Venrex?

Companies that have received investment
