Season’s Greetings from the Royal College of Art

On Monday 10 December, students and staff of the Royal College of Art joined with the local Battersea community to mark the start of the festive season. For the second year running, the RCA and Battersea Creative Quarter have jointly organised a Christmas Tree for the south side of Battersea Bridge.

The tree lights were switched on by the Mayor of Wandsworth, Councillor Piers McCausland. More than 100 local residents joined the festivities, which included carols from The Chelsea Arts Club Singers and mulled wine and mince pies in the RCA's Dyson Gallery.

The community event was sponsored by Kier and supported by local businesses including Lanigan Estates, Bayley & Sage and Fresco Deli.
