Royal College of Art Confirms 105th CAA Conference Attendance
The Royal College of Art, the world’s number one university of art and design (QAA World University Rankings 2015 & 2016), has confirmed that it will be represented at the 105th annual CAA conference by Professor Jane Pavitt, Dean of the School of Humanities, and Head of Textiles Anne Toomey,.
The London-based, wholly postgraduate art and design university has a global reputation for world-leading research and for the high quality of learning it offers. Recent senior appointments include Rebecca Fortnum, Jeremy Millar and Mel Jordan. With a student body of 1,750, the College has over 200 academic staff and some 840 visiting academics, practitioners and theorists. We attract students from 65 countries, including the USA and Canada, to our wide range of art, design, architecture, communications, materials and humanities programmes, including the fine arts, graphics, fashion and textiles, ceramics and glass, and history, theory, writing and curating.

Professor Jane Pavitt and Anne Toomey will be available to talk about the RCA, and also to offer advice on portfolios and applications to the College’s 24 Master’s Programmes, its new one-year MRes courses and its MPhil and PhD Research degrees.
**New for 2017 entry: 15 month, 240-credit Master’s programmes within the School of Humanities: V&A/RCA History of Design and Critical Writing in Art & Design**
Visitors to CAA will have the opportunity to discuss academic and pastoral issues related to studying an MA or Research degree at the RCA, along with School philosophies, curricula and application guidance.
Interviews will take place in booth 308 in the exhibition hall. Appointments* are available on Thursday, February 16 and Friday, February 17 (9am–6pm) and Saturday, February 18 (9am–2.30pm)
