Design for the Mind
Dr Katie Gaudion and Faith Wray are currently working with the British Standards Institution (BSI) on a project called 'Design for the Mind', an early stage research project that explores how we can improve and tailor the built environment to consider the needs of people who are neurodivergent.Â
The term neurodivergent covers people living with dementia, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia and a range of other neurological diversities. The project invites people who work or have an experience of neurodiversity to take part in the research through interviews, co-creation workshops and an online survey to help inform and influence new BSI design guidelines for the Built Environment. If you wish to take part please fill out and/or circulate the online survey to your network.Â
