2019 Turner Prize Shortlist Announced, Includes RCA Tutors and Alumni

The 2019 Turner Prize Shortlist has been announced. Alongside Lawrence Abu Hamdan, three of the four shortlisted artists for the 2019 Turner Prize include RCA staff and alumni. They are: 

Dr Paul Thompson, Vice-Chancellor at the College said: ‘Congratulations to all four of the 2019 Turner Prize shortlisted artists. The Royal College of Art is delighted that this year’s shortlist will feature the work of our current staff and alumni. We are thrilled that Tai Shani, Oscar Murrillo and Helen Cammock have been recognised by such a prestigious British cultural accolade.’

The works will be on display at the Turner Prize 2019, open to the public from Saturday 28 September 2019 – Sunday 12 January 2020. The winner will be announced on 3 December.
