What is DRAWing?
What is DRAWing? celebrates ten years of the RCA DRAW seminar series. Curated by two DRAW alumni, Grace Holliday and Bethan Durie, the exhibition represents contemporary drawing practice in all its forms. From 4–25 July, diverse approaches to drawing will be on show at the Triforium Gallery above Temple Church, exploring the significance of drawing to the practices of 20 MA Visual Communication alumni.
Featuring works by Akhila Krishnan, Zoe Taylor, Paddy Malloy, Anna Filipova, Charlie Duck, Patric Sandri, Rachel Lillie, Becky Allen, Betsy Dadd, Emma Rudge, Joe Rudi, Serena Katt, Yeni Kim, Tom Radclyffe, Oli Binnian, Rachel Wright, Amélie Barnathan, Rebecca Truscott-Elves, Tom Spooner, Christy Burdock and Latifah Al Said
DRAW is the umbrella title for a series of student - led informal presentations of work concerning drawing. It is a dialogue between practitioners, ex-students and current students in the School of Communication , which aims to extend the uses of drawing and create crossovers between graphic design, moving image and illustration
Private view: Friday 6 July 2018, 6–8.30pm
This event has been organised by alumni from the School of Communication. Please contact the Visual Communication administrator for more information.
