Feminist Touchdown
Come and get to know the Feminist society over a drink at the ArtBar. There will be introductions, a chance to share ideas for the coming year and fabulous chat with your fellow feminists.

FilmRCA Screening: Beautiful Thing (1996)
Join FilmRCA in kicking off the year in a light hearted fashion with Beautiful Thing – a touching and humourous film that tells the story of two working class boys who fall in love on a council estate in Rotherhithe in the 90s, with a soundtrack consisting solely of Mama Cass songs. Gorvy Lecture Theatre, Battersea campus

Free bike checks and servicing from professional mechanics on Howie Street.

Tour of Battersea Campus with Whiskey
RCA Students' Union Co-President Whiskey will give you a tour round the Battersea campus so you know what's where and where's what.Â

Eine Kleine Karaoke
After the Vice Chancellor's Reception, join the RCA Students' Union and resident karaoke host Aleksi Remsu for a night of cheesy classics and proud performances. This is the first of three karaoke nights this term in the ArtBar.Â

Tour of White City Campus with Jazbo
RCA Students' Union Co-President Jazbo will give you a tour round the White City campus so you know what's where and where's what.Â

Native Instincts
Native Instincts is a night organised by School of Communication students for all RCA students and the surrounding community. Expect DJs, VJs, installations and performances organised especially by SoC students. 2A Maxilla Walk, W10 6SW

Hampstead Heath Walk
The Royal Amateur Expedition Society are starting off the new term with a long walk on Hampstead Heath to get some fresh air, clear heads and welcome members new and old. Meet at 8.30am at the Parliament Hill Café on the Heath. Dress appropriately – walking shoes/trainers and a coat if it’s raining!  Please email [email protected] to confirm attendance.

Welcome Week Debrief
Our resident DJ Emmy & co from School of Architecture will be keeping you moving with some refreshed beats. Expect to meet new people from across all courses and campuses and be left hyped for the new academic year.Â
30 September
1pm
RCA Cycling Club – Cycle to Kew Gardens
Join the RCA|CC on their first ride of the year to Kew Gardens at a steady pace, stopping occasionally for breaks. Once you arrive you can have a look around the gardens then cycle back to Hammersmith and have a drink and some food at one of the pubs by the Thames. After that you’ll ride back to Kensington for 5pm. Meet at the Jay Mews entrance, Kensington, at 1pm.
