Talking Interiors with Annabelle Selldorf
16 October 2013
The first of the Talking Interiors lectures for 2013, organised by the Interior Design programme, was delivered by Annabelle Selldorf, Principal of New York based Selldorf Architects. The firm has worked on public and private projects that range from museums and libraries to a recycling facility; and at scales from the construction of new buildings to the restoration of historic interiors and furniture design. Their design approach engages a critical process that eliminates the unnecessary and proposes clear, succinct solutions. The firm has particular expertise in the specific demands of cultural and art-related projects, with significant experience in gallery, exhibition, and studio spaces; as well as museums, art foundations, and collectors’ homes.
