Studio Sundown: Can language destroy a building?
20 February 2017 | 5.30pm 7.30pm
Booking essential. Email email@example.com.
Get the new year off to a curious, collaborative start! Come and take part in Studio Sundown, a series of mini-workshops on Monday evenings initiated by ReachOutRCA. Each workshop will be led by a different RCA practitioner and will be an opportunity to explore a creative question in an informal, playful and experimental environment. This isn’t a lecture series or seminar - it is a chance to tackle a question by making, doing, collaborating and discussing.
These workshops are open to the whole college (all staff and students) and to young people studying at other London colleges too, so they’ll be a chance for people at different stages of their career and education to meet and work alongside each other.
Workshop 3: Can language destroy a building?
Join Alex Parry (Contemporary Art Practice) to investigate how language and imagination might become tools of agency in the built environment.
Booking essential. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact details, with the email subject heading: ‘Workshop Number – Your Name – student / staff’ For example: Workshop 2 – Jessie Brennan – Staff / Workshop 4 – Ben Gerrard – Student
If you’re interested in coming to more than one, please send separate emails for each session you’d like to attend. We’ll allocate places randomly and if you’ve been given a place we will email you to let you know one week before the workshop.
