Open Day

School of Arts & Humanities January 2019 Open Day (Kensington)

19 January 2019 | 2pm – 5pm


Pre-booking for this event has now closed but it is still possible to come along to the Open Day – just sign in on the door.

This School of Arts & Humanities Open Day takes place at our Kensington campus and is for visitors interested in learning more about the following Programmes. 

MA Curating Contemporary Art

MA Sculpture

MA Writing

This Open Day also coincides with the School of Arts & Humanities Work-in-progress Show and visitors will have the opportunity to see work by current students on display, both at Kensington and Battersea.

RCA Open Days are open to prospective students thinking of studying at the Royal College of Art. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the RCA, before visiting programme facilities, workshops and studios as well as hearing from the Heads of Programme and having any questions you may have answered by staff and current students.


  • 2–2.30pm: Registration
  • 2.30–3pm: Welcome and Introduction to the School of Arts & Humanities by Professor Victoria Walsh, Head of Programme, Curating Contemporary Art
  • 3–4pm: Individual Programme presentations
  • 4pm: Shuttle bus departs for Battersea for any visitors who wish to speak to staff from Battersea Programmes or view a further exhibition of student and graduate work there.
