Visit Ars Electronica 2024 to learn more about the RCA

Studying at the Royal College of Art places you at the heart of London: a city internationally renowned for its creativity, culture and diversity - the perfect place to develop your creative career in.

Ars Electronica is an annual exhibition presenting a diverse kaleidoscope of artistic perspectives in the form of exhibitions, concerts, performances, screenings, conferences and workshops.

You’re invited to meet Professor Camille Baker (Senior Tutor and Professor of Interactive and Immersive Art), Dr Carolina Ramirez-Figueroa (Senior Tutor) and others in Austria at Ars Electronica 4-8 September 2024, for an in-person conversation about studying at the RCA.

What to expect

Ars Electronica is hosted across Linz, Austria from 4 to 8 September 2024. Look for the RCA in the POSTCITY building at stand 11.

We will also be running 30-minute, one-to-one appointments between 10am – 12pm on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 September. Please select the appointment that fits your schedule best.

We kindly ask that you only select one session to allow others the opportunity to attend. We regret that duplicate bookings will be cancelled, and your earliest booked time will remain your one-to-one meeting time.

If you would like to book in on a one-to-one session please reserve your place via Eventbrite. Please note, your ticket for your one-to-one ticket will not gain you access into the exhibition at POSTCITY – tickets sold seperately via the Ars Electronica website.

Who is this event for

  • Those interested in postgraduate study at the Royal College of Art
  • Current RCA applicants and offer-holders
  • Parents, guardians and family members are also welcome to join, though please ensure they have a ticket

You don't have to specialise in any discipline to attend this event: we welcome guests planning to apply to all subject areas.

How to join

Book to attend the festival via the Ars Electronica website.

You can also book a one-to-one with Camille Baker or Carolina Ramirez-Figueroa on Eventbrite.

(Please be reminded, you will have to purchase a ticket for the exhibition in order to enter POSTCITY for a one-to-one session. Tickets for Ars Electronica start at €13 Euros.)
