This event brings together Sir Geoff Mulgan, one the UK’s leading thinkers on politics, social impact, zero carbon and creativity in conversation with RCA’s Head of Service Design Clive Grinyer, to discuss sustainability, social innovation and policy and the role of creativity and design in building imaginative futures.

Why is our view of the future so dystopian? Where is our ambition to create new institutions and a society that builds on the achievements of the past to create better futures?
Geoff Mulgan is one the UK’s leading thinkers on politics, social impact, zero carbon and creativity. His new book 'Another World is Possible: How to Reignite Social and Political Imagination’ examines the history of future thinking, challenges our expectations and ambition and invites us to reignite our social and political imagination. Geoff will be speaking to the RCA’s Head of Service Design MA Clive Grinyer about his book and his work across sustainability, social innovation and policy and the role of creativity and design in building imaginative futures.
The event will be chaired by Clive Grinyer who also leads the Service Design Masterclass at the Royal College of Art.
