The History of Design in Everyday Life

On behalf of staff and students from the programme we are delighted to announce the V&A/RCA History of Design MA: Final Graduate Projects exhibition. The exhibition is the culmination of fifteen months work by students on the History of Design MA and this year's theme is the History of Design in Everyday Life.

The exhibition will present students’ degree work, with a focus on how individual projects and emergent themes from the projects as a whole contribute to ongoing social, political and academic debates and question public representations of design and design history.  The thread that pulls these debates together is design in everyday life and with observations on material culture in museums, exhibitions and archives.
