FRONTLEFT – Making Public
9 December 2019 to 13 December 2019 | 9am 5pm
Dyson Gallery, Royal College of Art, 1 Hester Road, SW11 4AN
FRONTLEFT – Making public is a collaborative, multi-disciplinary art exhibition exploring the transcendental qualities of the femme, sex-positive, queer techno movement.
Curated by RCA MRes alumnus Ricardo Suazo, the exhibition aims to showcase the creative power of the scene, while creating a space for alternative forms of expression in the gallery context.
In the context of the exhibition, a 'Raving in Crisis' roundtable and Q&A will take place on 13 December. With participation from various queer collectives from across Europe, the panel will discuss the role of the queer rave as a place for political activism and a platform for artistic research practice.
