An exploration of people-centred design from the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design – an inclusive design research unit based at the Royal College of Art.

The Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design (HHCD) undertakes design research and projects with industry that will contribute to improving people's lives. The final exhibition at StudioRCA will be a showcase of some of the Centre's diverse and engaging projects, as well as displaying winning student designs from The Helen Hamlyn Design Awards – an annual competition for graduated RCA students that rewards creativity in people-centred design across all disciplines. Awards are given to projects that address issues across five HHCD themed categories: Digital Inclusion, Healthcare, Inclusive Spaces, Work Futures and Disability. There is also a special overall prize for ‘Creativity,’ judged and personally awarded by Helen Hamlyn.

This event has been organised by StudioRCA and the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design
