Arts Emergency Mentor Training

9 October 2019 | 6pm – 8.30pm

Kensington, Lecture Theatre 1

Arts Emergency is an award-winning mentoring charity and network. Their mission is to help marginalised young people overcome barriers to participation and success in higher education and the creative and cultural industries.

Arts Emergency mentors work voluntarily with a young person over the course of a year, meeting monthly to set goals, explore higher education, creative projects and careers. They will be welcoming up to 130 brilliant new young people to their mentoring programme in January 2020 and are looking for new mentors.

The RCA is delighted to be hosting Arts Emergency for one of their mentor training sessions.

If you'd like to find out more and become a mentor, sign up and attend this free training session

The training covers working with young people, what you can expect as an Arts Emergency mentor and safeguarding. This session is open to anyone to sign up (not just RCA students) and is one of a number of training sessions being offered in London, Manchester and Margate.

Free but booking required
