RCA Emergency Fund (Back on Track)
The RCA offers a transformational educational experience to students who go on to change the world, which is now more important than ever. Help us to support students facing extreme financial hardship due to the global Covid-19 crisis.
Despite having temporarily closed our campuses, the College remains focussed on continuing to provide outstanding teaching and learning programming to all our students – no matter where they are in the world. However, during these unprecedented times the RCA needs your help. We cannot thank you enough for your continued care and support shown recently, but our student population has been hit hard, with ramifications of the Covid-19 pandemic expected to impact the Higher Education sector for many years to come.
For example, at present a large number of the College’s students have:
- lost jobs vital to supporting them living and studying in London
- had to buy the additional necessary technology to access online teaching
- fewer external opportunities to start their professional career.
We are calling on you, our alumni, close friends and generous supporters, to help us to provide a lifeline to those students most in need.
Today, we are launching the RCA Emergency Fund (Back on Track), with a goal to raise £100,000 to mitigate the extraordinary financial impact faced by RCA students at this time. Your contribution will augment the College’s own Continuation Fund, assisting students who are facing hardship as a result of the current situation.
Your support will enable students to continue their studies at the College. By pulling together as a community, we can protect the next generation of the world’s most promising new art and design talent.
Your donation will go directly to support the students in the most desperate need.
Help us save #GenerationRCA.
