  • Ricardo Sosa-Mejia is an Architectural Designer and Researcher based in London, working across design and technology. Currently working as a Project Leader at Heatherwick Studio, leading a 1.2 M SF workspace for Google in Mountain View, as well as being part of the core R&D team for Google's Charleston East.

    Previously he has worked as a Senior Innovation Architect in the Engineering Excellence Group at Laing O’ Rourke, specializing in generative design, parametric tooling and façade systems.

    Additionally, he’s worked as a Senior Architect at Zaha Hadid Architects, where his experience extends through projects such as international competitions, master plans, cultural and residential projects through Europe, Asia and Latin America.
    Ricardo holds a Masters in Architecture and Urbanism from the Architectural Association’s Design Research Lab. He is an active contributor at the Architectural Association, as well as being a digital advisor for the Glass Facade Technology Group (GFT) at Cambridge University.
