  • Mark has been administrator of the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design since February 2007. He is responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, co-ordinating and providing administrative support to its programmes and  assistant to the Director and Deputy Director of the centre

  • Biography

  • Mark Byrne studied for a BA (Hons) Fine Art Painting at Loughborough College of Art & Design, graduating in 1995. After graduating, his career took a varied path including retail work and clerical roles in the NHS and local government. During that time he continued to follow his passion for fine art and film.

    Mark became administrator of the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design in February 2007. In this role, he is manages running of the centre and provides administrative and financial support to its programmes and research labs. He has also acts as assistant to the Director and Deputy Director.
