  • Mark has been administrator of the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design since February 2007. He is responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, co-ordinating and providing administrative support to its programmes and  assistant to the Director and Deputy Director of the centre

  • Biography

  • Mark Byrne studied BA (Hons) Fine Art Painting at Loughborough College of Art & Design and graduated in 1995. After graduating, his worked in retail before taking on clerical roles in the NHS and local government. During that time he continued to follow his passion for fine art and film.

    In Mark's role as administrator of the Helen Hamlyn Centre, he manages the daily running of the Centre and its events and provides administrative and financial support to its programmes and research spaces. He also acts as assistant to the Director.
