Lorna Walker


  • As the College’s Director of Human Resources, Lorna is responsible for leading an excellent team of professionals that recruit, induct, support and develop our talented workforce. Her remit extends across the full range of HR functions including workforce planning, reward strategy, diversity and inclusion, change management and a suite of progressive employment practices. Lorna’s ambition is to continually improve the employee experience in a way that positively impacts the student experience and enables the achievement of the College’s strategic objectives.

  • Biography

  • Following 20 years in local government in Scotland, Lorna joined the RCA in 2015. A Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD), in 2018 Lorna completed a Masters in Employment Law (LL.M), her dissertation examining the impact of the Equality Act 2010 for UK employees working overseas.
