  • Flora Roumpani is a Visiting Lecturer at the Royal College of Art for environmental GIS and 3D GIS. She is an architect and currently a research fellow at the British Library and The Alan Turing Institute.

  • Biography

  • Flora Roumpani received her PhD from the Bartlett Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis in UCL in 2018 (EPSRC Doctoral Training Grant). She also holds an MRes in Advanced Spatial Analysis and Visualisation from CASA and a diploma in Architecture Engineering from the Department of Architecture in the University of Patras (MSc).

    After her studies in architecture, Flora worked as a city planner in Doxiadis Associates in international master planning projects for four years. During her PhD studies she worked as a research assistant in CASA for the “ReMapLima” participatory mapping project in Lima Peru, funded by the Bartlett Research Materialization Grant, and later in Intel’s “Capstone” project.

    She has also freelanced for award-winning projects relating to new media and education.
