Applying for funding is a separate process from applying for admission. Please note that an offer of a place does not constitute an offer of financial support.
The information in this section is intended to highlight the main sources of funding – it is not comprehensive and there may be other sources, for example through grants from charitable bodies or government schemes (both in the UK and abroad).
The following database has been put together to provide a starting point for students looking for sources of funding: UK, EU and Overseas funding bodies (PDF).
Many students support their studies by winning awards, working around their course commitments and during vacations, and selling work during the course. In addition to £3m of RCA bursaries offered annually, there is also the possibility of winning awards while at the College: £500,000 worth of prizes, scholarships and awards are available to students on an annual basis – with new awards being added each year.
Cross-college prizes and awards are posted on the College’s intranet when applicable. Please note that prizes, scholarships and awards vary by programme and are only eligible to registered students at the College. Please consult the relevant programme administrator for further information.
