Qilin
In my project, plants live in symbiosis with algae. The design is inspired by nature; borrowing from, collaborating with, and exploiting it.Â
Through the ages, people have assembled desirable parts of different creatures together, aiming to create an ultimate life-form. The future of nature will thus be hybrid creatures, driven by technology. My research on the mythological Chinese creature, Qilin, inspired this project, by combining machine and plant, an unlikely union of nature and technology arises.Â
