Healthy, balanced nutrition is vital to a sustainable lifestyle, yet most people acquire their nutrition knowledge from commercial marketing campaigns. While each advertisement may contain some partial knowledge towards a balanced nutrition, it is inevitable to have biased information towards their marketed products. My Equal provides a cheap and effective solution towards this problem, which incorporates a simple RFID tagging system with smart phones and does not require major modification to the existing shop infrastructure. It helps customers to achieve healthy, balanced nutrition, at the same time providing advertising for retailers to maximise their profit.
