Pack it up
The story behind an object exceeds its physicality and for me it is important to express this through everything I make. Using a box as a tool to tell my narrative is a suitable frame for my work. The box is a specific space to work within and it gives opportunities to generate anything that would fit in the interior, whether it is a piece of jewellery, a speaker to tell a story or a short video to communicate emotions.
I am experimenting with artful and technical solutions in ways to make people interact, collaborate, connect and engage with my work. This creates a platform that allows one to spend time with the object and strengthens the relationship between the holder, the container and its contents.
