Projection

Through use of projection and installation, my practice looks at the functionality of ancient sites of anthropological significance, such as cave paintings and Stonehenge. It questions the innate desire in humanity to connect and to make a mark, to say 'here I am'. It is an imprint of self expression, which plays on digital methods in physical space by exploring the relationship between ancient and digital rituals.

My practice questions the dialogue between humanity and technology through performance, moving-image, installation and image-making. I seek to present audiences with shared experiences through interaction that challenges the contemporary conception of the digital as an insular experience.
