Fossil
The fossil collection at the National History Museum is my original inspiration for my graduation project. These fossils have unique colours and textures. In my final collection, I employed hand-crochet techniques to combine different materials, including perspex, fur, leather, Swarovski beads, to create a jewellery collection and sculptural pieces.

At the RCA I found out my own way of creating unique three- dimensional outcomes. I enjoyed doing personal research. With material exploration and technical experimentation, I explored unique bead connection technology, as well as hand-crochet knitting techniques and materials such as perspex, fur, leather and Swarovski beads. I combine these ideas to create an unconventional jewellery collection and  a large-scale sculpture collection for a space.Â
Moreover, there were many internal and external collaborative projects and textiles-based competitions that helped me to understand the real commercial world. For example, the collaboration with MA Fashion Menswear Knitwear student Natalia Mencej is a case in point: I created four chunky accessories for her fashion collection. This fashion collection was shown at International Talent support 2014.
In my final year Swarovski sponsored me twice: once for my own collection, the other time for the collaboration project with Natalia Mencej.
