Reliving Postcards
Postcards have a special place in the world of communication. This is the only mode of personal communication which is public. It's open and subjective to damage. Being made of paper, it also deteriorates over time.
The usage of postcards has decayed over time because – with the rise in technology – we have more efficient and quicker means of communication, and this is making postcards extinct.
Hence this pavilion talks about the journey of postcards and their current situation. Natural rusting of metal is metaphorically associated with the decay of the postcards themselves.
The exhibition design encourages people to incorporate postcards back into our lives. Doing so, this personalised and physical medium of communication will help us to save some special room for love and emotions in this digitalised world. Let's look through the past to reimagine a better future.
The last Postcard in hand suggests that we RELIVE or DIE – our choice.

I am interested in designing people's lifestyles. My work involves the study of human psychology and how it can be implemented and made sense of in spatial arrangements. The intention is to allow a space to exist in which the visitor can enter from a variety of contextual frames and then be allowed to develop a journey into a range of ideas and experience. To do so, I like to play with different materials and their characters.
