ION Imagination in Motion

How can we provide kids with the vital creative and analytical skills to thrive in tomorrow’s world? Kids learn when they 'do things' and they remember what they experience. How can we inspire tomorrow’s leading designers, engineers and inventors?

ION is an invention platform that thrives on your imagination, talks to your tablet and gets you making with family and friends. ION exists to celebrate children’s imagination, to nurture their creativity and to give them the freedom to learn through invention. ION builds powerful hardware, intuitive interfaces and interactive learning media.

Hardware consists of an intelligent motor unit with modular attachments (wheels, pulleys, propellers; your imagination is the only limit…) and adaptable fixtures (easily connected to any material). This hardware wirelessly communicates with smart devices providing a control interface and an interactive learning environment.

This technology gives kids the creative freedom to 'make' on a new scale. ION’s power enables kids to build 'ride-on' whacky inventions out of the material around them. The experience… Imagine attaching four ION units to your chair right now, opening the ION app and speeding around the studio by tilting your tablet.

ION places cutting edge tech into the hands of the most naturally creative people on the planet. It brings their ideas to life, it sets their imagination in motion and creates memorable learning experiences that will stay with them for life. Most importantly ION prepares the next generation with the skills to solve problems and make a difference in tomorrow’s world.
