I am a design historian with a particular interest in the contemporary. My research at the V&A/RCA has focused upon creativity, craftsmanship and technology use in contemporary food culture. This project has been a means of expanding the scope of the History of Design to include creative fields not traditionally considered to be within the remits of the discipline.
