“You never identify yourself with the shadow cast by your body, or with its reflection, or with the body you see in a dream or in your imagination. Therefore you should not identify yourself with this living body either.”

We are what we feel, and what we can feel is not limited to ourselves. Our sense of self is not innate, but constructed and is subject to manipulation. This project stretches our sense of self by remapping our self-perception onto objects and other people, creating a unique synthetic self.
