With a longstanding interest in wool, I have created a collection of woven fabrics for interiors, through which I hope to increase interest and appreciation of wool and woollen products. Applying traditional woven techniques, but in unusual blends of wool and other less common fibres such as paper, gives the collection a more contemporary edge. Design and colour inspiration comes from a series of drawings and photographs of iconic military and industrial buildings, which is incorporated into both jacquard and dobby fabrics. The collection comprises an integrated range of products, including woven wallpaper, upholstery fabrics and throws.
