• Political jewellery, or more accurately, the jewellery of politics, has singularly created its own philosophy, attempting to provide a surface and deeper explanation of the world around it.  It is the judge and jury of what ‘real’ is, and has its own choreography by creating a platform for itself.  As a Middle Eastern woman I feel a moral duty towards those who have not been afforded the opportunity to realise their ability to stand for themselves or, indeed, for the beliefs of others, and therefore my series of work contributes to this matter.
