AR_CADE (Solo Major)

AR_CADE is an augmented reality gaming experience that allows intimate interaction between tangible objects and a digital environment. AR_CADE utilises mobile devices as AR headsets to immerse the player in a manipulatable digital world, which can be interacted with through AR_CADE tabletop toys that appear live in the game environment. It is a platform for creative developers to share creative stories in a format never before seen – a gateway for curious players to explore worlds beyond their own.

Other Work:

The Space Compass is a navigational curio that moves and points to each planet in our solar system based on its own location and astronomical data.

  • Harvey’s playful design style comes from a love of games, toys and education. As a designer he uses a combination of virtual and physical experiences to teach and delight. His passion for play and background in physics are visible in his work, in which he often creates whole worlds and new ways to explore them.
