Disclosed: Smarter Facts to Shop the Way You Care

Disclosed aims to support willing mainstream consumers who have the individual ambition to consume more mindfully. These consumers struggle to contextualise their shopping choices in the bigger picture, because information is not accessible, too complex to comprehend within numerous very short fleeting moments, and because it doesn’t connect to what they personally consider as being important.

Disclosed is a transparency certification for products and the associated data ecosystem that delivers simple, accessible and tailored new digital layers of information about goods, to empower consumers to make active informed choices that reflect what they individually care about.

This project reflects some of themes I am passionate about; sustainability, behaviour change, information accessibility, democratisation, retail and the empowerment of people. Design is for me a positive driver for change. Through service design, I believe we can develop effectual opportunities by exploring and making sense out of the relationships between people, and their interactions with technologies, environments and resources.

    MA Service Design, 2014

  • I believe that service design is about making things better; by being relevant and by having a strategic impact on both business and society. For me, it means making a greater difference by meeting people's needs while offering powerful business opportunities and creating value for all service stakeholders. I am passionate about developing desirable, accessible and pertinent services and experiences by taking a user-centred approach and design-led creative problem solving.
