David Knight is a designer and author, and director of the architecture and research studio DK-CM. His critical projects about the contemporary built environment have been exhibited and published internationally. He teaches at the Royal College of Art and Kingston University, and has been a visiting lecturer and tutor at various institutions including the Architectural Association, University College London, the École Spéciale d’Architecture (Paris), FAUP (Porto) and Cambridge University. He is co-author of SUB-PLAN: A Guide to Permitted Development (2009).
