MA work

MA work

We are building a floating architecture that evolves like a living organism, a laboratory for techno-social experiments. We have an International Space Station, but what we need is an International Ocean Station.

Open_Sailing aims to design an attractive technological lifestyle to overcome any possible natural and man-made disaster, stimulating people’s ingenuity and sense of solidarity. This is not a Utopian architecture model, we are actually building it. It is an inhabitable drifting village of solid and comfortable shelters surrounded by flexible ocean farming units and energy pods. The design is fluid, pre-broken, reconfigurable, sustainable, pluggable, organic and instinctive.
