  • My work starts with the notion of subverted truth and questions what life would look like if alternate truths about the nature of reality were accepted as fact. The past 400 years have been defined by a world-view rooted in philosophical materialism. This has endorsed our consumerist society where notions of value are synonymous with material possession. Yet the truths on which our capitalist society is founded upon are unravelling with new ideas about the nature of reality that are rooted in an ancient knowledge of connectivity and esoteric mysticism.

What is it that makes us believe in something? And can new beliefs about the foundation of our knowledge create new social structures? My work looks at the ordinary in a world of myth and magic.Â
