  • I work best collaboratively, tending to take the lead in groups. Often my ideas are realised as temporary situations and hypotheses; however my intention is to facilitate the application of these ideas to tangible objects and permanent initiatives. I do not believe in art as an end in itself, as it is important to me as a artist/designer that my ideas create change.

I see the act of education, teaching and learning, as a form of practice. I have a passion for experience  design, believing that it is not only about creating grand gestures but altering our everyday experiences. It is about seeing the potential in all objects and the context of those objects. This idea extends to curation and critical spatial practice, understanding space as physical, metaphysical and virtual. The problem solving and user experience that is the challenge in curatorial work, matched with the critical relationship you choose to expose between works in a show is the reason my practice has become increasingly focused on curation. My interest lies mainly in the curation of new media and interactive artwork, and in the exploration of presenting intangible or temporal work.
