Abigail explores the use of opposing material qualities in order to create a highly tactile material environment. With the aim to allow the viewer a form of escapism, aspects such as play, tactile interaction and childlike inquiry are captured in the use of colour, texture and shape.

Abigail Ward is a colour and materials designer who develops design ideas through the implementation of process, exploring making in a deliberate yet intuitive manner. With a special interest in the implementation of colour, pattern and texture her most recent project investigates the use of opposing material qualities in order to create a highly tactile material environment.
