The Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design's Student Programme has two main elements: the Helen Hamlyn Design Awards and a series of design workshops and projects for RCA students.
The purpose of the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Designs' workshops for students is to encourage RCA students to engage with social changes and adopt inclusive and participatory design methods.
Design workshops and projects for RCA students in 2012 and 2013:
- AcrossRCA cross-disciplinary project
- BlackBerry Student Project 2013
- See Creative Citizen Student 2013 Challenge
The Methods Lab
These workshops were held from 2008-2011. They involved design students and tutors across all disciplines and departments of the College. Two Methods Labs will be held each academic year to engage and inspire.
