Scholarships ensure that the best students can access an RCA education and break down financial barriers. As a wholly postgraduate institution, our students are fully committed to furthering their education and careers – but in many cases they lack the resources to fund postgraduate study, having little or no personal income, limited parental support, and substantial debts from their undergraduate studies. A scholarship can be the difference between a student being able to take up an offered place at the College and having to decline it for purely financial reasons.
The RCA brings together the most creative, innovative young minds from around the world and helps them flourish, whatever their background or financial circumstances.
In the context of reduced public funding for higher education, we are more dependent than ever upon the generosity of our alumni, supporters and friends to help us preserve the diverse student body that has been a hallmark of the RCA since its founding in 1837.
If you share our belief that no student should be deterred from applying to, or prevented from studying at the RCA for financial reasons, please give today.
To find out how you can make a regular or single gift, see How to Give.
The Scholarship Fund supports second year MA students who need financial support to be able to complete their studies.
Please contact us if you are interested in discussing how your gift could name a scholarship.
